I was informed that my smart is on the boat. I want to track the vessel. What port do they use, Brunswick or Jax? I put my VIN # in on the WWL web site and no record of it. Do they use other shippers besides WWL such as NYK, Hoegh Auto liners?
Yes, mine was shipped to Baltimore on a "K" Line PCTC. Because the CARRIBEAN HIGHWAY was a non-WW operated ship, there was no information beyond the loading date at Bremerhaven. The "K" Line website had the vessel's voyage data.
From the research I did, MB ships to both Jax and Brunswick. Don't know if smart does the same. MB VPC is moving to Brunswick in 09 to consolidate operations. As of now, my VIN still has not shown up on the WWL site. Suppose the smart is on a different carrier. But the beauty of it all is that I will be behind the wheel soon!
