So has anyone received there Smart from any South Florida Dealerships?

that includes Weston and Coral Gables, and I think Ft.Lauderdale.

We seem tp be lagging behind the rest of the country. I'm sure there are some being delivered, but I don't think its many.
I just found out yesterday that I will get mine in April, from WPB.

Smart Center weston has been delivering cars. We picked ours up on February 4th. I don't think the Coral Gables dealer is open yet.

smart center weston as of today has delivered 27 cars i think is the newest count, we have 10-12 on the lot that are either waiting to be picked up or cancellations that are waiting for their new owners from the waiting list. but the hold that was on alot of our cars at the port was lifted and we should be getting cars delivered regularly now.

Cool. so Coral Gables is open now. and I saw a smart drive right in front of my house! and mind you I don't live anywhere where people randomly drive through

I put my $99 down on April 7 last year. Picked up my yellow/black smart on April 7 at the W. Palm dealer. Nice folks to work with. Don't be surprised at the $600+ transportation fee plus the $600+ dealer tack on/profit whatever fee. My passion, with only the tach/clock option, came out to $16,000 with those fees plus tax and personalized license plate (LV SMPLY). But I love the car. What a hoot! And be ready for lots of conversations/questions/smiles/picture taking. Fun. And so far, average 41+mpg. :-)

Yes... I too received my Smart ForTwo in January from the Smart Center in Weston. If you're considering buying a Smart... I strongly suggest contacting Smart Center Weston. They are very ethical, professional and real pleasure to deal with.

I have a friend who has already encountered several problems with the Coral Gables dealer - shady, shady, shady! He had been waiting about 15 months and now he lost his car - poor communication on behalf of the Dealership. The dealer is off to great start! >:-(

I heard that even if you're scheduled to pick up your car in Coral Gables, you can still opt to have your car delivered to Weston so long as your car is still in production or transit. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

I picked up my Smart on February 17th from Weston.. I love the team there. They are informative, well trained and truly professionals. BTW, I am loving my Smartie....
I drive from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale everyday on I-95 and have not had any problems. My Smartie is a micro car with a BIG attitude.
Smart Center of Weston is the way to go.
FYI, I am averaging 43 mpg.
