I just got back from a drive to Port St. Joe, about 35 miles down the coast to the Southeast. Surf is up a bit, stopped at Mexico Beach where I saw some folks with surf boards in their F-150. Got interrogated about my smart

The usual questions and a look inside the car.
Spotted a wild bumble bee in Port St. Joe! Actually saw him soon enough to react, first by flashing my high beams and with the four-two hand signal as he passed ... not that the signal was necessarily recognized by him.
I'm in for a pit stop. Gonna go down to the city marina in a few minutes.
EDIT:
1959 - Well, the center of the storm is as close to Panama City as it will ever be, just about 30 miles offshore. Claudette, so far, has been a non-event in Panama City. Took a walk outside a while ago: No rain, a little breezy ... the trees are swaying a bit ... I LIKE it like that.

Still expecting some rain, it's right off the coast.
Earlier, on the coast, I witnessed what might have been 25-30 MPH sustained wind.
-------
2116 - Pretty substantial rainfall now.
-------
2208 - I've measured 1.0" of rain at my house. More is on the way.
-------
2047 - 1.38" of rain. Electricity has blinked several times, but no prolonged outages, yet.
-------
2354 - 1.86" of rain.
