I had an email from Tracy about a week ago and she said she sold one to someone from Tucson just the day before. I don't know what color or what part of Tucson. I haven't seen it around town (yet).

Some of my staff have seen a blue smart around but don't know if that's a new one or not. I saw a black/silver in Sonoita yesterday while I was on my FJR for a nice cool ride to Bisbee. Did the friendly "beep-Beep" and got a nice wave back from her. I would have thought with Tucson being so environmentally focused that there would be lots more from this area that would be "on the list"! That will just mean that Teapots will have to be the one to show hers off to this town. (after she gives me my ride first!)

Welcome back mstratton...I had a couple of hours today and went searching. So far nothing. I would think that with the Gem Show going on, the Golf Tournament shortly, and all of the "Snow Birds" back we should be seeing a smart.

Hello; I'm also waiting , but i'm getting more impatient as i hear of the people getting their's, can't wait to see how they drive. Teapot who is Tracy ? I'm just getting in this loop and wonder is there someone i need to call about my reservation, any help ? My res #is 1275 and i reserved on 6-29-07 semms like i saw some higher numbers that have already been contacted. Patience, Patience Thanks Traktee

Welcome...Can I assume since you are on this thread that you are from Tucson. If so, what part? If not, where are you from?

Tracy is the Sales Manager for the Smart car dealership in Chandler. The web site is www.smartcenterchandler.com. Have you done a test drive yet? If not, Chandler has their test drive cars in. Go to Chandler and ask for Tracy.

Regarding reservation numbers, I haven't been following that thread lately since I confirmed already...1232 confirming 12/28. You may want to contact Smart Car directly and they can confirm you still have a reservation. If you start talking to them about your number they have a standard line they will hand you or just seem confused. Their phone # is 1800smartusa. If you have been seeing higher numbers that have received the confirmation email, it could be something called dealer loading. There is another thread on that.

I just found this on another thread that was posted yesterday (see below) and he is from Phoenix. So there are others with lower numbers that are still waiting to confirm.

Teapots; Thanks for the info. I have'nt been on here in awhile, I got the confirmation email last Friday for res #1275 June 29,2007, so i'm now just waiting on a car, gives you something to look forward to, kinda like christmas. I am from Tucson and live In the S.W. area, i'll be driving it to my T-Shirt shop at stone and glenn when it arrives. Thanks again Rick
