Supposedly, I am the first on that list. I emailed Tracy a few weeks ago asking if she had an orphan list. She said no but would go ahead and start one with my name.
I recently spoke to Tracy at the smart center in Chandler. She said that she has an Orphan List and if you are interested, contact her.
Prior to doing so, there are two (2) stipulations:
The first is that you must be from Arizona. The second is that you must already have a reservation for a smart.
If you meet these two (2) stipulations and can't wait for your car, then contact Tracy.

Trust me on this. No dealer will hold onto a car longer than necessary due to floor plan costs. Once it is a confirmed cancellation - they will sell it quickly even to an out of state buyer without a reservation.
