Picked it up today as #5 delivered in Arizona. Blue Passion, Jessica & Rumur made a simple easy delivery. Posted a photo in the member area. I am going to have to resize the others before I can post them.

Got a phone call from Sean that my Smart car was ready for pick up Sunday when we get back in town.. Here some pictures we took.

The experience has been great so far.. It has great pick up and go speed on the freeway.. Handle much better then the demo cars we tested during the summer. I love the heated seats... having a stiff back with back pains the heat feels good on it. When I receive the car it only had 5 miles on it.. Now it has 130 mile just in one evening driving it around showing friends.. You sure do get a lot of attention driving one. I guess the one think I was surprise about is there is no spare tire but a tire repair kit and the battery is under the passenger floor mat.. The whole experience is different but fun... First long trip will be from Surprise to Tucson second weekend in February. I’ll let you know how that goes…

Nice photos! Boy am I ENVIOUS. Guess I'll have to go to a new thread for those of us that are patiently waiting while you Smarties are out driving around. How many Smart Cars did they have there? It looked like a pretty good number. I'm still not sure how the reservation numbers work either. I'm #1188 and reserved April 11th. Maybe that has me on the top 1/3 of the list (number 500 or something like that)? I wonder how many they will get in over the next few months. Congrats again on getting your Smarts!

For those of you that got your Smarts... Can you comment on what additional fees will be added onto the configuration total? Previous mention of $400 fee. Anything beyond that and taxes? I've probably got until June to save up and would like to know the complete financial expectation before I'm 90 days out.
