Hello fellow Zonie (AZ) Smart Owners

I have owned my Smart for 3 weeks! I love it!
It is wonderful to cruse to work in the early AM with the top down! Great fun!
I've learned to get an early start for appointments to account for the curious!
You have to give the "Smarty" credit for being the best icebreaker for singles!
It does lead to many a conversation opener.
My standard poodle finally accepted the car into the family. At first he
would only walk around it. I am not sure if he was puzzled by the size of
the tires, or possibly the car being too insignificant for him to claim as ‘his.’
Has anyone taken the Smart up the hill? To Prescott or Globe? I was
wondering how it handled the Arizona mountains.
Catch me if you can in the afternoons on the 101 going south from Scottsdale
to Tempe!

Haven't driven "up the hill", but I do live in Bisbee at about 6,000 feet and my smart handles just fine. - sheureka

Went "up the hill" when we had the car only 2 week. I did not want it to down shift so I was easy on it. We made it but were in the 45-50 mph range. That was in March. Now I think it would have no problem making it.

Went to Walker (near Prescott) 2 weeks ago - no problem going up the hill; pretty consistent at 65 - 70, but it did search for the right gear a few times. May be going again this weekend - look for me
