Help Us Name Our Club

At a lunch gathering today, we discussed the need for an official "short name" for our local club. We came up with a few ideas, including:

Smart-AZ - Our domain name, but there was some concern about being known as a bunch of "Smart Az'ses"

AZ Smarties - The original name used by a group of 450 owners.

Phoenix Smart Club - We discussed keeping the club more local, to allow others in Tucson, Sedona, and elsewhere in the state to have their own club.

Desert Smarties - or Sonoran Smarties

One HOT Smart Club - refers to the heat of the Arizona desert, also suggested "101 in the shade smarties."

Smart Valley Cruisers - UDEVL likes the word "Valley" in it.

Do you have any other ideas and feedback?

I live in the Phoenix AREA, and don't like Phoenix Smart Club only because I do not live in Phoenix, Yea west side!!!!

I do Like AZ Smarties but how will the 450 club feel about us stealing thier name?

I like PHX smart club, however I live East and work West. It would be nice to maybe tie in the "valley" somehow?

Regarding AZ Smarties, we are hoping that the 450 and 451 models will become part of one club. I know that Tim would like it if the new club used this name.

I kind of like boring old Smart Car Club of Arizona, but otherwise we'd be perfectly happy with anything - we also like the idea of merging with Tim as AZ Smarties.

well, if you live in phoenix area whether you are east side or west side we all reside in the valley of the sun.

i agree with the comment about the boring smart car club of arizona. the name is kinda boring but it is direct, all encompassing and descriptive.

i'm fine with whatever is decided.
