How many AZ reservations

Do we know how many reservations are from AZ? I am a 1329 from August.

I'm a 1383 - reserved in mid October. I'm patiently waiting but realistically don't expect to hear from them anytime soon. Not sure where the info came from that said Chandler was going to get 1400 this year but I did read that earlier. I'd like to think that a fair number of Arizonans had the foresight to reserve a Smart but not many are hooked in to this forum. Any word on the highest reservation number to get a call from the dealer yet?

I'm a 1188 and reserved a few weeks after they announced the reservation program (April 3). I confirmed my options etc. on November 9. Out of curiosity, I called and spoke with Tracy (Sales Manager) at the Chandler Smart Center yesterday. I asked about "the list". She said they are only getting a list of people when the cars go into production. My name is not on the current list they have. She wouldn't be specific as to what reservation numbers were in production or the last number to already receive their Smart car. She basically said they have no way of knowing until they are notified which cars are in production.

After I confirmed my Smart Car the e-mail I got was that I would receive my Smart car in the first HALF of 2008. So I'm assuming that means June and it seems from the ambiguity I got that it certainly won't be any earlier. On the upside if one needs to get a loan to purchase**interest rates are going down.

That being said, you can assume they haven't gotten to 1188 yet.

and confirmed on 11/9 as well, nothing yet, although I do now know who my dealer will be (we have 2 in Chicago). I've seen just a few Chicago area folks on this forum but I think most are 1173 or 1174's who have had their cars delivered ...

Reserved on 21 Mar. I'm an 1175.
Confirmed on 18 Oct.
Supposed to take delivery in the first 90 days of 2008.

I am a 1407 from November. I read the boards all the time but don't say much. I have visited the dealership a couple times just to look at the little cars but I have not driven one yet. Hopefully they will call me next week for a test drive!!

I'm 1232 and confirmed late December. According to my email I should be seeing my smart the second part of the year.

Don't wait until they call you. If they have the cars in, go in for a test drive. Ask for Tracy.

I'm 1241, reserved at the end of May and have not received request to confirm/configure. I've talked to Tracy a couple times and to Smart a couple times. Each are as vague as the other. I'm afraid the bloom is off the rose for me. I was eagerly checking this site daily, now I look at it every week or so. I'm glad people are getting their Smarts and posting about their experiences and posting pics. I still want the car, but the excitement isn't there. Too bad.

Just yesterday I was bemoaning the fact that I hadn't heard anything and that the communication from SMART has been sparse... and this morning when I checked my email - Dave Shembri was asking me to confirm my order

I confirmed this morning. It did, however, say to expect delivery in the 2nd half of 2008.

So - I'm not "excited" but I am somehow relieved that I've finally confirmed. Now the wait seems tolerable (probably because I KNOW it's coming now).
