We (my wife and I) had our first SmartCar Club of Arizona run over this past weekend. While club membership is sitting at forty-five (45) and climbing, we only had eight (8) SmartCars due to the fact many are still waiting for delivery, but it was a real gas and experience.
The club has had two other events that we missed. But we are now scheduled for a June 7th Canyon Lake - Tortilla Flat run.
This was a great experience. Comparing Pre-2007 450's to the new 2008 451's. Exchanging stories of how we individually discovered the SmartCar and what we went through to acquire one.
For so long we believed we were the 1st or 2nd SmartCar in AZ, and had never seen another since last July. Then to have eight of us "Conga Lining" through Phoenix was such a sight.
