Service at Chandler and Area451 Cruise

I've never taken my car in for service but Chandler is probably my closest dealer. I have two warranty issues (a shim on one of the doors and the heater on my passenger seat), want to get the shifter upgrade when it's available, and need the 1-year service. Has anyone gotten grief from Chandler because they have the Area451 cruise installed? I want to make sure I don't have any problems when I get there because it's an 8-hour round trip and I only want to do it once.

I could take it to San Diego (about 12 hours round trip) if anyone thinks that would be easier there. My son lives there, so at least I wouldn't have to stay in a motel. TIA - sheureka

I'm not terribly happy with the Chandler dealership. They treat their Smart owners different than the Mercedes owners. Go someplace else if you can. I have no choice!

Little Bee - I don't know why you said that - I get treated like the "big boys". The smart dealership in Chandler (and the only one in AZ by the way) has been great to work with. I bought my car there and have been in for service.

Hey don't feel bad.. Took my 760li to the BMW dealership in PHX an was given a Nissan for the week while they fixed the car... BTW our Smart rides better than the.. Nissan... Rick

I was treated very well in Chandler when I had the 2.0 upgrade performed and met a nice couple from Tuscon. Met half of Teapots at an event there too.
