My daughter recently crashed into one (rearend) at 40 MPH (XB traveling at 35) and totaled the XB. The Camry did remarkable well considering. And yes she was uninjured.

yeah, its just a tin can, everyone keeps asking me about how safe the smart car is, and I say I will feel safer in the smart than the xb...

I'm hoping some of us in AZ who get our cars soon will consider taking them to the Pavilions Car Show some Sat. night. They would get lots of attention and it would be fun to talk to each other and all the lookers. Glenda

So Glenda, are you trading your TC or keeping it?

Hi Gortok, I think my TC is still worth more than the Smart. If I love the Smart, I'll sell the TC. It's got less than 30,000 miles on it, factory ground effects, upgraded rims. I can't say as I'm really attached to it like other cars I've had so if it has to go....I'm trying to decide which car gets to be in the garage at night!

2 more weeks.

Got the 2nd call this week to tell me it is in the port and not to expect it for 2 more weeks. I would almost rather have them just phone me when it is ready, this foreplay is killing me!
After their are a few of us on the road we need to plan a get together to meet and compare fit and finish. Most post really like the quality and others do not, but you do not know if it is the writer or the vehicle. Hope to meet you all soon.

Hi Jim

What part of Tucson so I can keep an eye out for you? According to my confirmation email, I won't have mine until 2nd half of 2008.

How many AZ possessions so far?

Hello,

I too have contacted Tracy and "staff" and have been anxiously awaiting any news. I reserved 3/07 and confirmed 10/26/07. I was hoping to have mine by end of February. That is looking way too optimistic now. Oh well. I guess it will get here when it gets here. Any clue how many we have in AZ so far. I thought I was told that 40 cars had arrived, but not all have taken possession! Are you kidding me? I will take the day off to go get mine!

Just got a email from Tracy. They have testers down there. I think I may take a long lunch one day this week.
