1180s are coming to Dallas!

Lovely Allison called this afternoon with the news that one of our two Smarts (the silver/black/black Passion) will be here in one to two weeks. Unfortunately she had no info about the other (white/silver/black Cabrio), which will be my wife's car, and she's the one who has been holding her breath for years Both were 1180s. Hopefully hers will make it by our 40th anniversary on the 24th, since it's her anniversary present.

Allison gave me the VIN but the tracking system doesn't see it yet.

See the thread under Smart Car Community > Smart Car General Discussions. It describes how to track you car if it is being shipped via cargo ships belonging to Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics. It's not clear to me if all new Smarts ship via that carrier, however.

I was talking about the WWL system but I now see an update that says WWL tracking only applies to cars coming in through Baltimore. So I guess I'm out of luck unless someone can tell me how to track Jacksonville cars. Darn...
