Hi all,

I just wanted to post a little reminder of our September Meet-N-Greet. Again, the meetings are typically held on the first saturday of the month, but, with the holiday, we have pushed it back on week. Here is the info.

Date: Saturday 9/12/09
Time: 6:00pm
Where: Denny's
7619 Ben White Blvd
(this is the Denny's located near the airport)

Would like to do something fun in October (hopefully, this heat wave will be done by then). I have an idea or two, and if you do, bring it to the meeting. We will toss everything out onto the table and decide what to do then.

Just wondering how people we can expect to see. Anyone thats planning on coming on by this month, let us know so that we can let Denny's know how many people we are looking to seat.

Sorry I couldn't make it, as I mentioned in previous posts. So... how did the meeting go? And when is the next meeting?

Smart Dude,

Sorry to have missed ya. Meeting went well. We didn't have the turn out that we were hoping to have, perhaps the rain kept some folks at home. At any rate, we mainly discussed a few more logistics of getting more folks interested. We also discussed what our first event is going to be. Looks like we are going to head to the Wurstfest in New Braunsfels the first weekend in November. Sure, it's kind of a long drive, but, it would certainly be well worth it. Once we work out a few more details regarding that event, I will post them up on here.

Other than that, we had a few great discussions about smarts, what our first cars were, and some other great topics.

Our next meet is going to be the same place on Oct. 3rd @ 6pm. I will start another thread with that information. Hope you can make this one!
