Central Texas Monthly Meets

Hey everyone here in Central Texas.

Was talking with Michael and has been mentioned on the site. About maybe suggestions for our 4th Tuesday meets during the month. I have yet to make one, which I forgot totally about this month. But was thinking of maybe doing BBGs for a new location. It is right at roughly I-35 and I-290 North. They have plenty of parking, and since it is not Corvette Wed, I don't think it would be a problem. That way if we all wanted to have a beer or two, food, and chat. We would have the option. It also is pretty central to the Austin area. Or, if you have a better location, post it. Maybe Michael can put some thoughts in on this. I would like to see the grp get going since we are coming upon warmer weather soon, I hope. This is Texas, so short winters.

Either way, catch you all around and was good seeing you all at the poker run.

Yea, we kind of petered out on the Four/Tue meeting. I heard people at the Poker Run suggest finding a new location or joining another car group. What's BBG's?

Grant it, it might not be for all, but the beer is good and plenty of parking when they are not doing special nights. It's one suggestion since I have not seen any others.

How about Dave and Busters? Unless we hear from others we could just make a decision and then post it-email it, etc. The Fourth Tuesday in Feb is the last week of Feb the 24th.

That works also. Both have plenty of parking and you can get food or drink and still have fun inside on games. At least while the weather is so damn cold.

I say D and B's. It is pretty central to all of the austin area, has games, food, drinks, parking. I would say it should please everyone. And unless some company party or convention, it should be quiet on a Tuesday.

My wife and I will be there, sounds like fun! Hope to see other Smart owners and see what kind of upgrades everyone has or planning to get.

Okay, it looks like 3 of us can do the FourTue at Dave and Buster's (9333 Research, 78759) on Feb 24th. Time? I work late on Tuesday so it will be difficult for me but if y'all will meet then I will start posting it and ask RRsmart to send out an email. Let me know ASAP!
