One coincidence too many ** I don't work for a police department! (Hence way too many tickets...) I own a public relations firm. I happen to be on the advisory board to the East Texas Police Academy, which holds Practical Driver Improvement classes for "civilians." A good friend works there and I go to help out sometimes.

Hey I'm gonna back out on this drive. I have an old friend just called told me she'll be here on Saturday so I'll be picking her up and to celebrate my birthday too.

We might be going to a funeral also as both of us knew a co-worker that passed away earlier this week. We've known this co-worker for 15 years. But if the funeral is before Saturday. We are probably be visiting some of the former co-workers/friends/family memebers this weekend.

That's a shame you will miss the event! You will miss seeing what my solid yellow rims look like in person.

Perhaps you could just go to the Einsteins from 9:30 to 10am?

Hopefully another event can be organized soon.

Missing Drive

Hey BumbleBee
Sorry to hear about you coworker, but there will other drives I'm sure after all we have something in common= Bumblebee Smart and Colorado Crew. What color is your Colo, mine is white and my wife says I ruined it I lowered it 2" front and 3" in the back but not with blocks I used leaf springs and drop ball joints in the front.
Enough rambling my wife wanted to drop out of the drive when she found out how far it would be, the only way we will not come is if weather is bad such as high winds.

Take Care
Charlie

Yeah it's a bummer. My colorado is the dark blue Z71 package. I have not done any mods to it as I know how addicting it is once you started.

We are going to try and come by Einsteins and say HI. Since our Smart hasn't arrived yet ( deposit May,07 - configured 12-29-07), we'll drive the 32 that's in our avitar if the weather is nice. Have fun.

So....do we make sure we are all gassed up or should we make a scene by all pulling into a gas station in the middle of the drive? I wonder if we could find a full service station?
