Hey CenTex smart Car Club and central Texas smart owners, what do you think of joining the Georgetown Area Car Club for the 2nd annual Car Show and Charity Benefit? May 2nd in Suncity, Georgetown, Texas. If we get 8 smart cars entered they will create a smart car category and have trophies, otherwise we enter the show in the OTHER category. Let me know what you think!!!!

Count me in for 2 Smart car entries - my black Cabriolet and my wife's blue Coupe. If I can con the daughter into it, she can enter her silver Coupe, as well. Looking forward to details!

I don't see why I can't get my Little Rally Red Cabrio cleaned up and ready for a car show. Count me in.

Well that's a very exciting response. I'll put together some information and get it posted all around the net and ask RRsmart to email all owners. We'll have to register VERY early if we want our own category. It should be a really fun way to show off our cars, get to know each other and other car (other types of cars) people.

Put us down as tentative. Mostly because we dont know how much it costs. Might be a fun DFW Smart drive... When you get some more info, can I tell the club here?

Here's the rough draft of what will go out soon....

Let's join the Georgetown Area Car Club for their 2nd annual CAR SHOW and CHARITY BENEFIT! There are over 15 classes of car entry and over 1000 people attended last year. May 2, 2009 from 10am to 2pm in SunCity Georgetown Texas. If we early register at least 8 smart cars they will create our own smart car category and trophies will be awarded. Otherwise we can enter under the category "OTHER". Registration fee is $25 that includes a free t-shirt. An entry form can be found at The Georgetown Area Car Club

FourTue - we're giving it another try. A few CenTex members wanted to give the Fourth Tuesday of the month (FourTue = ForTwo) meet-n-greet another try. February 24th, 6:30 pm til 8pm at Dave & Busters (9333 Research, 78759).

I have just filled out my registration form and will send it in tomorrow! This will be so cool!
