Got my Ceramic Tint and Sun Shield

Finally broke down and went down to Mother's window tint. Got the Ceramic done up.

Also stopped by Smart RR to get my Radio install kit and sun sheild.

Both should make a big difference now on heat in the car while it sits, and protect my interrior.

Did you just get the side and back windows? How much did it cost? What is the % rating of the film?

It's a nano (no Tata there) technology that filters light without affecting vision and without much color to it. It doesn't darken the glass [as much as normal tint]. As far as I can tell, the first and most renown company developing this technology is:
Ceramic Window Film Series - Huper Optik USA - World's first patented nano-ceramic technology
Most reputable tint shop can do it. Obviously it's more expensive than traditional color tinting.

That is the exact brand that I got for my tint. It is 30% max tint. It also does a better job of holding the heat out, UV and what not. I held my hand up to the window and felt no heat. My wife has just 3M on hers, and you feel heat coming in. She has 25%. So, Ceramic is the only way to go.

As for Price, 299 plus tax which was 341 I think, and that is LIFETIME warranty. Normal tint costs like 25 per window for a 3 year.

This tint is also much thicker then normal tint. Much more on the worth side then standard 3M tint. And lifetime warranty is well worth the price also. Considering the 3M does not do the job this stuff does.

Specification Ceramic 30
VLT % 30
VLR % 11
SC 0.43
SHGC 0.37
IR % 86
UVLR % 99.9
TSER % 63
Glare Reduction% 62
