Hello all!

As some of you know, we have recently moved to San Antonio. With that said, me running CenTex Smart Club has become a little more of a challenge for me. So, with great sadness, I have to renounce my spot with CenTex Smart Club. I have had a fantastic time with all of you and will forever cherish those memories.

With that said if there is anyone who wants to volunteer to take over so that CenTex is still able to put things together for other fun events, please feel free to e-mail me at eddie.vandermark@yahoo.com. I would be happy to forward you any and all the information, site logins, e-mail logins, etc., etc.

I am still holding my obligation to attempt to put together a wonderful event for our State-wide meet planned for October, (providing the other three chapters are still up for it) so keep an eye out for that.

Again, this comes with great sadness to me and I wish you all the best of luck and fun times with your smarties!

Thanks! I am so not happy about the decision but, it's one heck of a drive to start a drive. I hope to see you in October as well, provided that the plans are still a-go that is.

Sorry you had to leave CenTex, but will you be joining the San Antonio group? They should have some fun stuff going on. I've been entertaining the idea of trying to organize a road trip for our group to drive over to San Antonio some weekend. Would love to somehow arrange to get a photo shoot of Smarts in front of the Alamo, etc. Still want to do the Wurstfest again this November (I got sick last year and couldn't come join y'all, remember?
I come to San Antonio every month to visit family; if there's a Smart event going on some weekend, keep me posted!

Welcome to San Antonio. We are having a good summer here in South Texas the temps have not yet hit 100 degrees.

@ grasshopper: I will be joining the SA group. Now that I am settled from the move, I should be a little more free to join in with them. A group shot in front of the Alamo would be fantastic! What could be a more "Texas" kind of photo? Wurstfest was great, perhaps we can get a group run with the Houston, San Antonio, and the handful of dedicated CenTex members. I will send a message out to ya if the SA group has something big going on, it seems as though they typically post on insider, not on here.
