I know this may be posted somewhere else but I just change my insurance from an employee discount GMAC insurance to Wawanesa in California and for full coverage pay $902 for the whole year or 9 payments of 72 dollars for my new smart cabrio. Awesome

..this is a very good post..congrats for bringing it up
...with the obscurity of our smarts most insurance companies don't have a clue of what the charges should be, so, most of the times you will get a "we will get back to you on this one"

That is so cheap... full coverage on my 99 tacoma that I had before my smart with no tickets and an employee discount was 1300 a year. That's that cheapest I've ever paid in cali... thats being 25 married with no tickets...
