Man I was SO tempted. I just don't want red seats or a cabrio. I thought I was pretty easy to please until they started calling me. Actually I think I am. It's just that they have managed to call me about the two things I don't care for.

There is probably a guy out there driving a loaded black, yellow or white passion with a black tridon that he got as an orphan thinking to himself "Damn, I wish I could have held out for a black cabrio with orange seats!"

Or a guy could get a Black Cab with orange and install a matching set of recaro seats with real black and red leather .... for not that much extra green....wink

But then he is still stuck with the orange interior trim.... hummm Tandy has red leather that could easily be spray glued over the gawd awful orange! Watch one episode of Unique Wips to see the process....wink

This was the coolest thing...went by Ancira for lunch to see if they could get any news of when I might get a notice from Smart. Left them my name and number if they had any information. They had a Yellow/Silver Cab that was just orphaned. They called me up and now I'm driving around SA. The only problem is I would like to get a bike rack installed: they have the bike stuff, but not the "base rack" it mounts on.

My wife got a call from Katie yesterday at Ancira. They had a White/black cabbie orphaned. Now we are twice as smart!

Yep, a red passion cabriola with a red interior is mine; and I am picking it up Sunday 4/6 at 2PM. Look for me on the road. I ordered mine 3/31/2007.

Absolutely loving the car. Left Ancira around 4:30PM and put 120 miles on it the first day running up and down Scenic Loop Road. The transmission took a little getting use to; at first I thought there was something wrong as I was leaving the dealer. But now that I have the hang of the way it shifts I like that too. Looking forward to a long and loving affair with my Red Cabriolet.

Dang it. I didn't get a call on any of this action.

I popped in to the dealership to ask why and they said it was because they were all cabs. I really don't want a cabrivertable if I can help it.

Anyway, I took the opp to remind my guy I'm ready to buy and that I tip well. ;)

maybe I should get on the Round Rock list too. I notice "Silver Pebble"s new bumblebee has an "Ancira" tag on it.

I Really want a fully loaded Passion. Yellow, black or white would be nice.
