picked up white/silver cabrio this afternoon

After nearly forgetting about the order, I got a call 3 weeks ago that my car was on the way...3 weeks later and here it is! 08 Passion Cab white/silver with blk interior, comfort package, fog lamps, and extra gauges. We picked it up this afternoon from Smart Center Dallas. Stock photos for now, major mods coming....

I've ordered my second smart basically the same as yours except a passion coupe. I love my little orphan though, Blk/Slvr/Red passion. The wife gets the 1st one and I get the second one... ;)

Lee, I was actually there at the dealership taking my first look at the Smart Car last Saturday and I saw you picking your Passion up. It sure was beautiful! Congrats! We're looking into getting one for our daughter who just graduated from high school for her to go to college in. I did not even know these cars existed until last week. I sure wish that the wait was not a year or so.

I did not get to drive one yet, but I'm very concerned how the car runs with the A/C on and if the A/C can keep up in this Texas heat and humidity and if the A/C compressor drags the engine down a lot on power. How is yours doing?

Best of luck with your new car!

As we all know in the DFW area we're already getting some Texas summer heat. I'll be leaving soon to make a trip to Pineville, LA to Gulfport, MI back to New Orleans, LA up through Pineville, LA then back to DFW. Will be leaving Fri or Sat. Plan on being back in about 9 or 10 days. So I'll have distance, heat and humidity. Should be able to report how well Blue Belle does when we get back. And since there are no dealerships between here and there we're hoping all goes well. ~knock on wood~
