Smart owners, come to the Fourth Texas Mercedes-Benz Get Together, June 27, 2009

Howdy to my Texan Smart owners. I'm Joseph, aka "Joe", and I'm inviting you guys out to the Texas Mercedes-Benz Get Together that I put together every year. We've never had the presence of a Smart at any of the past meets, probably due to the fact that there were not many Smarts around back then. I'm seeing more and more of them around on the road now, and I figured that since Smarts are made by MB, you guys deserve to know and deserve to be invited to this event. Well, here's the lowdown on the meet.

There are going to be caravans leaving from Austin, the DFW Metroplex, Houston and new for this year, there will be a caravan leaving from from San Antonio. These caravans will converge upon Centerville, TX on Saturday, June 27, 2009 for a day filled with automotive fun! Like I said before, you guys need to come out to this one since you're a part of the MB family. We've had a diverse cross section of cars show up in the past, from the classy 1970s models, to the tuned 2009 AMGs. If you've got other Smart or Mercedes-Benz owning friends who don't know about this event, let them know. The more, the merrier. Caravans departing from each of the aforementioned cities will depart at a time that gives them a 12:00 Noon arrival time in Centerville. We will have reserved parking and a BBQ lunch in a room reserved just for us at the world famous Woody's Smokehouse on the NORTHBOUND side of I-45. After everyone has eaten, we'll head 4 miles south of town on old Highway 75 to Fort Boggy State Park for the Show and Shine! Unlike previous years, there is no longer an admission cost for entry into the state park. We will hand out awards based on People's Choice for best Vintage Model (Pre 1980), Best 1980s Model, Best 1990s Model, and best 2000-present Model. Bring the camera, PLENTY of water and some sunscreen to the park because it WILL be hot, not as hot as the July meets, but still hot. Come on and have some fun. This is an event you don't want to miss.

Update!

This is one you'll all enjoy. Fort Boggy State Park no longer has admission fees. In other words, the PARK ENTRY IS FREE.

Pardon my ignorance, but when I put CENTERVILLE, TX in Mapquest, it comes up with three options! I'm assuming this would be the Centerville near Dallas?

Nevermind!! I found it!
