I got an Email from my Product Specialist and he tells me that my car is still in port, but should be here before the end of the week.... good news!

Did they say if this is first lot they get...Knowing not all res are here I assumed the reason I had not seen any CSCRR activity was just that...

I decide NOT to pester them for several weeks becaus I am a 1215 and not expecting this soon... but real curious about out the door pricing

Ask him how he knows that; the guys in Louisville have no (and I mean zero) idea when their cars are coming. Would be interested to hear how your dealer got the info. Thanks!

Just put an order in last Friday 02/08/2008 for a Passion, Smart RR is telling me its going to take about 10 months!!!

That is about as good a guess as can be had...

They will not tell us how many are being imported per year...best guess is 20~26 thousand

There are over 40,000 folks with reservations and we figure about a 20~30% attrition rate...

With a Feb 08 reservation you most likely are going to get a 2009 model

We have no Idea about increase in price if any for the -09 but we are fairly certain there will be no changes to the cars offered ...I suspect you will get different color choices but doubt much else will be different

Our reservation was 03/26/2007. Picked up our car Wednesday, 03/05/2008.

Total price on reservation = $15245.
Round Rock dealer sale price = $15890, including transportation and dealer prep.
Purchased accessories, front (114.68) and rear (158.43) tire, rubber mats (61.25), two-cup holder (69.45), and safety plus package (220.21) = $624.02
