SMART? Tech.

Hello everyone. My name is Laramie and I am the Dallas area tech. I figured I would introduce myself. I have been a MB tech for three years now. I worked for Lexus for three years also. I find these cars are pretty cool. There seems to be a large and informed following. It's cool that you all are passionate about the vehicle. I look forward to meeting you all. The Dallas area advisor is Steve Fordham(Safe4now.) Hello Steve I already know you are on here.

Are you thinking which mods that can be done to the Evo can be done to the smart?

The dealers' service techs were/are to be sent to UTI for training. Apparently UTI is thought high enough by M-B to be used to train their certified M-B service people.

I am in a fortunate situation wherein the owner my local independant repair shop has another shop in Europe and has been smart-savvy for years now.

I was sent to the Smart training school in Detroit back in December. There wasn't anything new other than the engine and trans. The electronics are MB.

Fred, have you ever noticed that little nodule on top of the windsheild frame?

There's a dlilithium crystal motion sensor in a space continium flux shield that is housed within.
