SMART

I have the Blue Black coming and PMed the Dallas owner about the costs...He says the dealer did the tint, pin stripes, and wheel powder coating

I like the look also and will do something very similar

I am set up to do the powder coat but only one wheel at a time in my hobby oriented auto shop... if the cost of having it done commercially is low enough I will just let them do it from new so I am not "on the side" for the two days it will take me to do it...

The same dealer has done wheels in (matching) red and black and also white with black by putting the white or red on the rim and the spokes were black. These upgrades were done on orphans before offering them for sale.

Do you know the costs?

If not, do you have a name and phone num of the Dallas dealer person that would know?

Thanks

I have the 'standard' silver spokes and the front wheels are getting dark because of the brake dust. I might look into the black wheels as they do look nice...

Why of course you can. I know a good powdercoat shop that does a lot of work for me that i can recommend. I've even powdercoated chrome wheels. Came out very nice although you must prep the chrome with a good sanding. I'm considering chroming these wheels, then powdercoating centers black. Would add a few ounces per wheel at least, but it would look so sweet.

I heard the Dallas dealer charges about $1200 for powder coating the rims and offer the powder coat, tinting, and pin striping all for about $1500.
