I sure felt that this week. We have had guests from out of town this week, so have been using the Silverado to schlep them around to the tourist sights. Filled up yesterday, $75 instead of my usual $30!

I got sunburned at a car show yesterday. I had to keep coming out from under the shade tree to answer questions about my fortwo convertible. Corvettes, Hemi-cudas, even the classic Mercedes drop tops from the 30's...guess which little two seater stole the show... The most interesting part was how many folks were disappointed that I'm "only" getting 35mpg. Personally, I'm just grinning from ear to ear when I occasionally have to drop by the gas station. The 14mpg Silverado in the driveway just isn't getting the miles it used to. Oh yeah, the fortwo came home with a "top 30" plaque from the car show.
