There was a sports car in a CSI;New York episode that used plastic panels that returned to its original shape after some electricity was applied to it. It had some other cool features too (lasers that flatten tires of some one trying to follow you and was able to lay down oil that it ignited to create a wall of fire to prevent those following you to continue to do so. It was part Bond car and Knight Rider KITT.

I think it would be neat to see a 'KITT' version of a Smart Fortwo on the Knight Rider show.
