Indiana to Florida for Baseball Spring Training...

Photos of my SMART in front of a couple ballparks in Florida during our annual spring training trip:

Middle photo is the bridge crossing from Clearwater into Tampa.

3,200 miles traveled and not one problem. Sure got to introduce a bunch of people to the SMART though.

Nice! I can't wait to take my smart out on a long road trip.

Silver/Silver combo looks great by the way.

Very nice looking car! What sort of mileage did you get on the trip, how many bags could you fit in, etc? Inquiring minds want to know.

We averaged almost exactly 41 mpg for the 3,000+ miles of the trip. One tank topped out at 48 mpg as the highest. Hills/mountains in Tennessee dropped down to 34 mpg.

We fit in four duffle bags and two backpacks easily. Placing things behind the head rests is not a problem. You can you really see behind them in the rear window anyway. So jackets behind the seats and away we went.

Only problem was checking the oil with the cargo area full. Of course EVERYTHING had to come out......

I like it! Great mileage numbers for a fully loaded car and I assume you weren't cruising along at 65.

Great pixs and nice write-up. Those pixs look super hi-def too! Thanks for sharing and I'm glad you had a stress free road trip. How long did it take you to travel that far? Thanks, Regina

Looks like they were taken with a 4 MP SAMSUNG DIGIMAX 420, with a little help from Photoshop CS3. Excellent results!

Regina-

We drove essentially straight through and managed it in around 19 hours.
Drove most of the way at 75+mph. Slower to 60mph when the road got hilly.

Why yes that is frighteningly accurate. Nicely done.
Photoshop was only used to color correct.

I'd like to say it's my trained eye that deduced the camera info, but it's really a program called Opanda IExif, which let's you see the exif data in online photos.
