Actually, it is silver-on-black, like the original. A case of flash "red eye."

Thanks!
So that's what they call us OEM lovers that won't want to remove badges or change much if anything to aftermarket!

I'd call myself a purist now, but when I get my smart some creative juices might run and by next year (KC Nationals) you might see me in a chrome themed smart.

But if I had a roadster I wouldn't dare to change a single thing to aftermarket, all OE for me on a roadster.

I believe you can get the raised/chromed lettering "fortwo" from Canada or Europe. I have seen it on some 450s but cannot find a part number. Good to know that you can still get the decal though!

Jwight, do you happen to have the bag in which the decal came? If so, does it have the Smart part number on it? I'd love to post it in the parts list I am creating.

You can get ANY raised chrome letters here: YourEmblem- Make Your Car Unique with your unique set of initials.

And the "dome" decals here:http://www.smartsticker.de/index.php?cPath=21

Absolutely: 0018421 V001. Approx 1.50 Euro/British Pound so it's one of the better deals around.

The lettering I applied to mine. They were the smallest letters I could find, but I see the site chieftmc linked to has some which are smaller, maybe better looking too. Oh well, they're on there now.

I don't think they look too bad. But, would be better if they were all lower case.

Nah, I like how the smart is nameless, I think it gives it a cleaner looking rear area with just "smart" and nothing else.

And it just proclaims "smart"
It screams to the world "smart!"

It doesn't need to stinkin' fortwo badge to me!
