If I'm ever in Chicago I'll notice your smart from city blocks away!
Especially at night...

I never knew Illinois Law allowed ground effects lighting...

I do have a question for you though, what about the license plates corroding? Because when I get mine and when the plates corrode I don't want it to stain the tailgate.

It seems most states allow ground effect lighting while the car is parked but specifically not while the car is moving.

Yep,the lights must be off when the car is moving. I have a 3 way switch;off ,on with the locks and on for shows. I will be adding 4 more for the nationals next June along with other mods.

In Texas, you can run ground effect lights while the vehicle is moving. Actually, it's a loophole in the law, doesn't say you can, but doesn't say you can't. It's up to the cop that pulls you over and the judge you stand in front of as the whether or not you pay the fine.

It only states they cannot be red or strobes.

Red puddle lights

Hi all, thanks for the feedback . . .

We are looking at manufacturing red lights in the not so distant future!!

For now we are seeing how the blue ones go.

We are looking at an easy modification to the lights that have been installed with a change of color without changing the exsisting ones.

Watch this space . . . . .

Nonuro, your ride looks sick with those red lights

Maybe I'll get a clear bubble shield...but then that means unscrewing every 12 months for that sticker...or just placing the sticker on the bubble shield right above the old sticker...

Is that yellow window tint I see?

What a wonder car!
