Having worked in aerospace for 11 years, I have to say I fell out of my seat laughing with your "NO STEP" markings!

Awesome! Yeah I thought it added a nice aerospace touch. ;) It's also kind of a joke about the smart being small and asking people not to 'step on me' whilst driving on the highway, but mostly it's a nod to aerospace. Not everyone gets it, but it helps the look either way.

I'm planning on getting a vinyl cutter (still in the research phase deciding which cutter to get), so I may re-size some things, but overall this is the look I am going with, basically a 'mini shuttle'. What I plan to do still is add a billet/riveted gascap cover with a centered 'radiation' logo on there, not sure what color vinyl for the radiation logo yet. Possibly something subtle and reflective, or a dark gray or maybe just basic black. I wanna keep the color-scheme down to white, black and small red highlights. I know the shuttle has some flat-rust-colored boosters so it might be fun to find a part I can paint that color.

I'm still debating how to tint it. One idea I have is to do simple black tint, 35% or so on the small side windows, 50% on the back so I can see out of it at night.

I'm also toying with gold-reflective tint on the rear and side-rear windows, but this could look crazy....would fit the Nasa theme tho.

I know that U.S. flags on the right sides of vehicles should always be backward as if flying back in the wind, but I don't think a lot of people would get that. I'm trying to avoid vandalism via ignorance since I can't be there to explain that to people when it's parked. The big flag decals on there now are reflective too, which is pretty sweet.

Any other ideas are welcome.

I'll have to research more of this 'meat' guy and see who it is you're comparing me to. I saw a few posts of his and they didn't seem too unreasonable.

Oh, I was thinking of the Copam 2500 cutter. Waddya think? It's 700+, not cheap but apparently a really good machine. I am still weighing cost/benefit on these. I know I could make some money with a cutter (since I am an artist by profession) but not sure if I need such a good one to start.

Forest, forgive me if I take your suggestions with a grain of salt. ;) When I get a cutter though, I can make some really small text so more no-steps wouldn't be overbearing, but we'll see....I gotta research shuttle markings. Hmm...I might have to change the flag on the right side, I see it's properly backward on the right side of the shuttle.

Maybe 'United States' in the same font (Helvetica) as the shuttle, in black.
