Oh, I was thinking of the Copam 2500 cutter. Waddya think?

That was a joke!! From my point of view, you are NOTHING compared to that person and haven't done or said anything for me to dislike you. Some of your writing style has mirrored his though, content is different from what I've kinda seen.
75% of his posts were unreasonable and about 98% were aimed at sparking unhealthy debate.

Oh, sorry about that. I'm not too familiar with Copam. Honestly, it all goes off how often you will use it. For hobby cutting, a $300 China model will do the job. If you want to do more, a new one will work. Then there is always the used route. I bought used a few times. Once the mother board fried on an obsolete machine so now I have a giant paperweight in the shed until I befriend a person who can fix it or learn how myself.
My other, I bought a Roland PC-12. Little guy of a machine that I bought several years ago while they were still very expensive even used. This has been an awesome machine. Does A LOT! Worth a look for one of those, you can still get parts for them too.

There's a thread over in the "locked to you section" (SCOA Members only) where someone mentions about how one person could hate someone in one thread and be huggy/kissy in a new thread.
In short, a lot of people do learn to get over it quick here at SCoA. I bet Forest is displaying that right now. Aren't you Forest? Now shake and go play with each other.

Good deal. I don't really hold grudges long either, so it's all good.

Ok I am gonna look into the Roland. If it's more than the Copam though I probably won't go for it, but we'll see! I'd like to get a cutter which can do contour cutting, though I think I can do that on a $350 US Cutter model too.
Another reason I like the Copam 2500 is that it can do fine text really well, but I'll check that Roland out. Thanks for the suggestion.
Speaking of galleries, here's my art site for those interested:

On my cheepo used model I used to contour cut. Haven't tried on the new China model. The PC-12 is just to small to do much.
Nice gallery. Honestly, if I were you I would go for a wrap of YOU OWN designs. You obviously have the talent. Show it off on the car. Seriously. I'm sure you already know you can find someone to horse trade to get your wrap cheap/free. I know I've traded enough of my wife's artwork out for stuff. (she's a graphic artist too)

Apparently some vinyl cutters have laser 'eyes' but others can contour cut, like you mentioned...good to know. Least if I want to spend less I can still contour cut.
I thought about designing my own wrap, but I'll probably do that later when I have more free-cash. Good idea though, and thanks for checking out the gallery and the kind words.
Update: US Cutter LaserPoint on the way. WOOT. The Roland is $1600 which is way more than I want to spend at this point, especially being new to vinyl-cutting.

"We have liftoff! The Spacepod is off and gaining altitude rapidly!"
You should get the front pillars to say something like "please fasten all safety harnesses" and get a mini countdown clock. Use it to coundown the time to your destination or as your version of GM's useless stopwatch feature.
And maybe if you or someone else is good with electronics you could get the car to say "Houston, we have a problem" whenever your fuel is low.
Maybe I'm thinking aloud...
