You don't feel lost in that large cabin?

It's been a couple days now - do you still get butterflies when you have an errand to run and you know you get to drive your new beauty?

How does it feel?

I love it. I usually hate driving (refused to until I was almost 21) but we've been driving my car around for errands the past couple of days. I'm getting used to it because my Mazda sits much lower to the ground. And is it just me or is it almost impossible to check your blind spot on the left???

But yes, I love it, I love that everyone's looking at me

Try adjusting both mirrors Out further than you're probably used to. You shouldn't be able to see any of the side of your car. This helped me when zippy was new.

Enjoy!

PS - is that a pinstripe? paint or decal? Nice!

Since around `87 I've been doing a "lean forward" maneuver while looking at the mirror whenever I want to check for cars in my driver's side blind spot. It's not just the Smart but other cars that tend to have enough of a gap there that moving myself to extend the view seems to make sense.

Happy travels!

It's a decal from the dealership... it has the little C> logo on it and goes all the way around the back. I love it!

I should also mention, Allison was so great, she didn't charge me for that pinstripe. Or for the tinted windows. I was so pleasantly surprised when I got there. Kept the "SOLD" tag that has my name on it.

She also wouldn't let me take it until I drove it manually with her. And of course I'm glad I did!
