I read an OLD magazine (Popular Mechanics) that had been circulating through the hospital where I work for many years, and it said the way to adjust your outside mirrors so that there's no blindspot is to lean far over to the left until your head is against the door glass, and adjust your mirror outward until you can just barely see the side of your car on the inside edge of the mirror. Then lean over to your right side about half way to the other side of the car, and do the same thing with the right side mirror. That will eliminate any blind spots! I tried it, and it works, but it shows vehicles going the other way.......whizzing past in the mirror, and I found it far too distracting! Plus, with the back loaded with groceries, luggage, or whatever, you then have NO way of seeing what's directly behind you. Guess I'm old school! That's why I bought a little blindspot mirror! It works great!!!
