Can't you get a ticket for parking on the curb? I also wonder how much the driver had to gun it to hop the curb?

Speaking of the curb, I've been wondering recently what part of the Smart hits the curb first. I hope its the tire and not the lower bumper. Anyone know, given the typical US curb height?

I has to be the tire. Most cars' bumpers aren't that low.
