The helicopter in the photo is what the Army called a CH-54 Tarhe, better known as a "Flying Crane". We used to have a couple of them sitting on the ramp at Hanchey Army Heliport, Ft. Rucker, AL many, many years ago! :>) Very seldom ever flew, though. No one qualified to fly them, and plus, they leaked hydraulic fluid like crazy. So...... in reality, you'd probably have just as good a chance of getting the smart off the ground as the CH-54. Although, back when they WERE flying, they set a bunch of altitude & weight carrying records! :>) Nice shot! What museum were these taken in??
