THAT INFORMATION IS FALSE. No Brabus SMARTS are being released yet for sale or for DEMOS in 2008 or for 2009.
The info the dealer stated is FALSE.

*Now it is possible for them to get in Brabus Body kits or accessories but not an entire Brabus Smart.

If they're getting the vehicle in November, it could still fazll under the "nothing's been released yet" clause because it's not November yet.

If they're a dealer (we've verified this poster is a dealer employee in the recent past) what would they gain by announcing something that they perhaps shouldn't mention in a public forum until some official announcement is made?

Now no one said the actual car! So please don't go Blasting the thread. I will clarify my statement. PARTS for the Brabus to include a Turbo is what I was told. Now, from what I get and from what I know, the guy that started this thread probably was told a Demo. That does not mean that his dealer can't go and take all the parts they can get, and modify a 42 now can they? Then it would still be a DEMO of what they can do. They never said the actual Car DEMO.

This particular dealership has done some unscrupulous things in the past (remember heather3? )

There are a number of Brabus cars already here in the US and who is to say the dealership hasn't just sourced one of these and are bringing it to the dealership?

Exactly! There are many possibilities to this senario. So calling someone out about something that is not true when you yourself don't have the facts. Smart is right on. Could be one that has been aquired, or they took an orphan and totally modified it to be a Brabus. Anything is possible.

Also, if you get a chance to get some picks for posting. Then you have a picture proof that it was at the dealership.
