OK - got permission. I'M IN!!! I'll be there! .....but I had better get a nice deal on some gauge pods I don't need any as all my Smarts have them. My dad wants some for his car, he's been dying to get a set so for a fair price I'm sure it would sweeten the deal for my dad to tag along and make the ride with me (Needs to be quite a bit cheaper than the $268+tax I paid for mine in my orphan from Jacksonville).

I know I can do the trip in good time....but I don't think I "want" to try to do it in good time. "Set the cruise" and sit back might be what I'll do.

I need air filters too, I think. Last time I was in Orlando they cut me a pretty good deal IMO. I picked up multiples of filters up - air, cabin, etc.

The odds of me making it just increased after receiving a phone call from a friend. Would be a more interesting journey with a traveling mate, for sure.

So, including me, that would be a turnout of only three cars, so far?

I'm sure more will come out of the woodwork. Remember, not everyone lives at SCOA like some of "us"..... Jacksonville did send out an email to all their customers too so that'll be a couple more we've never met.

Of course there's those other Smart forums I've heard that are out there....., not sure it got advertised there too as I don't go to them too much.

If I make it, this will be my first visit to a dealer since taking delivery. Time to complete and print that list of 'customer concerns'. I think I'm talking myself into this!

No concerns to print out for me except what the heck I'll do once I hit 24k. After the trip I'll be at around 19,500 miles +/-.

My other car is up to 3,500 miles since I let Kermit sit all last week. Next meet in January I'll leave Kermit at the house and drive the other car....there will be something different about it by then. Mum's the word....you'll just have to wait for that.
