I just got email from smartusa about 4.2% financing. I'm really pissed I'm paying 6.6% interest. They should have been offering this back in February, the cars were not selling back then too.

More desperate time call for more... marketing.

I would have loved a lower interest but I can understand why they don't want to subsidize a car that's just a couple months into lowered sales. Now that it's gone on longer, it makes sense to me. I'd love to get the $1000 rebate they're going to offer in the second half of 2011, too!

I was happy about my purchase when I made my purchase, I won't rain on that parade.

Don't be pissed, be happy that your credit did not get you 10.9% like myself. Enjoy what you got. It always could of been worse.

I got one also. The bank that I use also offered to finance a smart for me. I asked about financing when I was looking to buy. They said they could not finance a smart. I told the finance director to look out her window. I did tell her we could talk refinance if she wants to deal

You might want to check out YOUR area smart center's website.... here in the DFW area, the 4.2% runs through July 31st and of course here's the "snip" for those of you who think everyone might get the 4.2%.
