Wow, 13! I think that's a dealer record. Indeed, there are plenty of Brabus vehicles to choose from at various dealers as there are new Passions. So much for 1 out of 750. haha What's weird is you don't see the number of used Smarts increasing or really selling to any great extent. It's been the same month after month which I guess says a lot for Smart owners wanting to keep their Smart if they can't get a certain price. Although I'm surprised the dealership doesn't hide the other dozen Brabus vehicles. I know Fairfield, CT hides vehicles in their "warehouse". Shhhh, it's a secret. Although if gas prices jumps from a hurricane or global economic stability, then you'll see these Smarts sell fast. I think most people expect gas prices to stay steady. I seem to be the only person who thinks differently. lol I guess I'm chicken little.

That's a dumb reason to sell a smart. You can go to Public Storage and rent a small storage to park it for probably $50/mo. or so for a little 5x10 or something. Then when he comes back, he can drive the car again and it would be just like new out of the elements by being in the storage.

I don't believe 1/2 the stories people tell for their reasons of selling the vehicle. I just think they make them up to get people to buy the car from them. There is probably some other underlying reason for selling the car that they don't want to disclose.

You have to be kidding me.
Doral Hyundai

They invented the word bait & switch. They are artists at this game. Those Cabrios lack the optional features with the exception of a comfort package on one of them. I've spent the better half of my life in Florida as has most of my family. If you believe these dealers are going to give you a bargain above what a private individual will do then walk into that dealership and get what they advertise. You certainly got lucky if you get it for the advertised price.

Did you read what the dealer wrote in the description?

"PRICING DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY ADDITIONAL RECOND. CHARGES THAT MAY OCCUR AFTER PHOTO IS TAKEN AND PRICED.PLUS FEES AND DEALER INSTALLED ADD-ONS."

I wish you the best of luck in finding a Smart for as little as possible. I mean who doesn't like a bargain?

We are in two different parts of the country. The northeast just started getting temps in the 70s. I still haven't turn my A/C on granted the house is very well insulated. We went through weeks of cloudy, rainy days in April and first half of May, which is why my local dealer is starting to get heavier foot traffic. I'd refrain from repeating myself here.

Honestly I do hope you find what you are looking for at the price you want, however I think we can agree to disagree here on what we believe is actual market value. NADA book value is done by locality so comparing what's in Florida to what's in Connecticut really wouldn't make any difference even if the advertised sale price were legitimate.

Hopefully, it's a legitimate sale and not a stolen Smart with someone who is going to disappear into the middle east.
