San Jose out of business. (location and name change)

I heard San Jose closed their doors. I am having my service and extended warranty transfered to another dealership.

Wow. The one on Stevens Creek? They did the warranty clutch for me last week.
Great experience. In fact the service manager called me just yesterday to follow up. I guess SF is now my smart center... too bad! It makes a trip to the dealer a lot more involved.....

This is not true. The Smart dealership is now called Smart Center Stevens Creek and its in Santa Clara but it is just blocks from the old San Jose dealership.

I just called them and they helped me to set my clock over the phone-apparently the owners manual says to press the left button but you have to press the right button. And they assured me that they are indeed still in business!

K. That makes sense. When I was in there last week for my clutch work their business seemed quite robust. I was floored to hear they went toes up.

Great people, by the way. I like my smart center a lot.

Here's the thread that Ryan started about smartcenter San Jose moving to smartcenter Stevens Creek. smartcenter San Jose sent out email notices about the change last year.

I've had great service from Ryan's staff at Stevens Creek and the staff at smartcenter Walnut Creek.

So, it sounds like there is new ownership for the Santa Clara Smartcenter. Good to hear the Santa Clara dealership is doing well.

Now, will they honor business deals made by San Jose (like, extended warranty agreements, prior service issues, etc..) or ........?
