Just a quick thanks to Chris at Annapolis smart in Maryland. I showed up a day earlier than I was supposed to but Chris made time to give me a good 20 minute test drive. Much better than the other 5 minute rush job drive I had before. Covered everything from tight city streets to a by-pass to a full out highway. Any misconceptions I had about the capabilities of the smart, were settled today! I even had the shifts smoothed out a little by the end of the drive. Only bad thing is now I want one more than ever! I'm on the list and I was told that they dont load up the orphans with extras. Fingers crossed

I just picked up my smart from the Annapolis dealership this week. Both Angela, my sales rep and Kim, their finance person were great to work with.

Due to the Maryland and Virginia bureaucracies I had to delay picking up my car and had some title/tag issues. Instead of taking the easy way out Kim took the time (and alot of phone calls back and forth) to work out the best solution. She and the rest of the smart team there really helped resolve a frustrating situation.

I see you're from York, Annapolis folks are very nice as are the people at Devon (PA). If you have a car on order you may consider switching to Devon. Car is inspected and provides PA plates at time of purchase. Much less hassle than having to get your own inspection and dealing with PennDot.

Too late! Getting an orphan passion from NJ. Not sure what kind of nightmares I will have to go through but I'll have my car! Salesman said they are the dealer for people in the Pocono area and havent had any problems so far. *knock on wood*

There is a smart car dealership in Towson right? That is the closest one to Annapolis though?

What did you end up getting from NJ? Also, which dealership is it...I may want to give them a call. I test drove at Devon today coincidentally.

No Baltimore dealer, Germantown or Annapolis.
