LOL, well the staff as all very nice, and Alex was a pleasure to work with.
She called me today to double check that everything is still going ok.
Maybe Ive just been in sales to long, when I sell something unique I really
enjoy talking to the customer and getting them excited as well.

Well I pre-orderd a little over a month ago. Can't wait to get it. They said 12-13 month wait, is that correct? If so I can wait. I've just heard some horor stories of 22 months.

Just jumping in on this thread.

I reserved July 18th 2008 and I know I have a long wait.

I reserved a Yellow Passion but most likely yellow will not be available. Being discontinued I guess.

My wife and I was at the dealer early July but she didn't want to take a test drive.
She didn't want to drive alone with a Sales Guy by her side. I don't blame her.

Anyway when can I expect a call from the dealer to config?

To small to carry stuff, To Small Driving, You can't fit into it or some other reason.

Don't believe all you hear/read but there is a wait. I configured May 07 and picked mine up June 08...If you received the 12-13 month wait from the Chandler Dealership, I would believe them more than anyone else. The wait at times will seem endless but for some reason, the last 30 days will go by fast.

I have heard that there are about 30 - 40 of us now in the Tucson area. The most I have seen in one day was 2 others besides mine. Where in Tucson are you from????

We (Hubby & I) have been having a great time driving all over Tucson. The bad thing about this car is that it was supposed to be mine. My husband now likes it so much that we have to share. Since we carpool together, I drive to work and he drives home.

David - You won't get a call from the dealer. You will get an e-mail and since you reserved in July 08 it probably won't be until sometime next year before you receive the e-mail.

Don't worry about your wife not doing the test drive. I went to Chandler for the Road Tour and did the test drive and went back a couple more times while I was waiting for my car. Each time Hubby was with me but didn't do the test drive. I can't keep him out of the car now...
