Too small when your trying to takes kids from here to there... My son always ends up with more stuff than expected... book bags, sports gear, etc..

Ok I understand. I have other vehicles for hauling people and stuff around.
The Smart is going to be my commuter Vehicle.

Just received this e-mail today, I though I had 30 days to take possession?

Hi CruisingAZ

I think we all thought that at first. I think the 30 days is really the e-mail/phone call from the dealer letting you know that your smart is almost here. I was told that even though they said 7 days to take delivery, if for some reason we couldn't pick it up within the 7 days, they would work with us as long as we were committed in taking the car.

Also, remember, if you want any dealer options they will get them done for you prior to you picking up the smart. There are more options than what is listed in the e-mail.

Alex sent me an accessory catalog, I ordered the floor mats and the rear compartment cover. I am off Sunday - Tuesday so they will have to deliver on one of those days.
