They are getting there (finally.) Official certification from smart is scheduled for the 19th; don't know when they'll have customer cars, demonstrators and accessories available. Still, it's progress.

I just drove by there yesterday (I work about a block over) and I saw no cars up for display. They do have a small section of the Mercedes building converted to the 'smart center'. It's got the logo up and the color scheme laid out. Nice to see something taking shape at last!

Smarts Are Here!!!
I drove by after work and there's a blue passion with black trim sitting outside. Inside there's a yellow cabriolet with black trim and a black w/ black trim passion or pure...I'm not sure which**I was too excited to really focus. They've also got a lot of smart clothing articles sitting out; several polos and a nice fitted tee, umbrella and visors.
The man working the smart center told me the car available to test drive should be here Wednesday.

We just picked up ours last night. The dealership was great to work with. Kevin was the salesman we worked with. they had 8 we were the 4th to be delivered I believe the other 4 are sold and ready to be delivered.

I got my smart today!. Magen, really was great, and Mark the Finance guy was great too. I think I was in an out in about an hour. All I had to do was sign the paper work, everything else was taken care of before I got there. I ordered 3 extra things, and they have to mail them to me, because I live 3 hours away. They even let me test drive one of the other cars until I got confortable with it, before I drove mine. I really liked that. It's funny how you don't feel as nervous when you drive someone elses car. It gave me the confidence before I drove mine. Magen took the time to show me how everything worked, and showed me how to get to the Fix-a-flat kit. She showed me everything except how to put an address in my GPS. I couldn't work it until I got home. The Secret "PUT THE PARKING BRAKE ON" to add and edit adresses.

That's good to hear! It looks like I won't be able to pick mine up until the 13th, but I'm glad to hear that you got yours and it was a good dealership experience! I'll be looking for a 'bumblebee' when I am down St. Albans way!

Megan is great.. very knowledgeable when it comes to the Smarts.. not to mention.. she's a sweet heart.. and VERY EASY on the eyes.. almost like eye candy.
