I have talked to you a couple of times on the phone and visited you week before last. I mentioned to you on my visit that you should join this forum. Glad that you did!
I spoke to smartusa yesterday inquiring about my smart passion, they mentioned that each dealer should know how many smarts are allocated to them monthly. How many are allocated to MB of Knoxville/smart center each month? Hope you can provide that info for us.

Also can you tell us how many smarts Knoxville have delivered to date?

Hello Bill,

smart is slowly getting info to the dealers. We are told by smart that we will get 35 cars delivered in April. That's the only allocation we know of at this time.

We have delivered about 18 smarts so far and we have 9 more at the dealership waiting to be delivered. I called several customers over the past three days whose cars have arrived to our dealership and have not heard from them yet. We are placing some cars to people on our orphan car waiting list.

No news yet, unfortunately, on your smart. I checked on a reservation holder today who said she placed her order in August 2007 and it is not showing up on the screens that the dealers have access to view through smart yet.

I can not tell you how wonderful the entire group at Mercedes Benz of Knoxville are. I received delivery of my Silver Passion Thursday. Laura, Kristen and Jim are such wonderful people! I just can't tell you how much we are enjoying our car and they made the entire experience so wonderful. Never hesitate to ask questions or visit. They are extremely helpful and courteous. There is noone out there as nice as they are! Great dealership!

I just picked up my Cabrio on Wednesday, and Kristin and all the folks at Smart Knoxville were great to work with.

If the waiting list wasn't so long, I probably could've sold another dozen for them this week just from all the test rides I've given. We're really pleased with our little baby!

That was me! Though I'll admit I passed more cars than passed me that day. I was trying not to maintain a steady speed during break-in, so that just meant I got to play a little more on the interstate.
