Passed by the dealership this morning, workmen have cleaned the place up of construction materials. No signs to be seen, and it looks like no furniture either.
I will try to stop and go inside Wednesday to rattle their cage and see if they can tell me about any progress.

Gettin closer . I was in the area this afternoon, the wife wanted a starbucks so I parked at the B&N next door and walked over to check it out. Workers were installing the counters and furniture. I would guess about a week and it should be finished?
They have a Tridion cell cut-a-way sitting on a frame with small caster wheels. My wife walked up with her schmoozy coffee and said "don't those cars come with bigger tires"? such the comedian she is...

This is what I found out.
They are putting up the Smart signs right now.
Sales Manager says he will have 40 cars in Friday.
Also, brochures will be available.
Dr. Dieter Zetsche will most likely be there Friday.

Where is the a Starbucks in New Orleans other than the Sheraton run one which even inflates Starbucks regular prices. Cafe Du Monde!!

Speaking of New Orleans. Just made the trip from Delaware to N.O for Jazzfest. Averaged 46.5 mpg by driving +-65 and following trucks (not close enough to annoy them). Car behaved like the champ it is. Special shout out to the blue cabrio from Tennessee with the "Four Two" plates. Took me through their state at 75mph on Interstate 58. It was the only smart I saw in my 2200 mile round trip. I thought there was 30,000 of these buggers out there.

Hope you had a good time at Jazz Fest. We were there Saturday and saw Pete Seeger and James Taylor. It was great! Glad to hear your travels went well.
We hit Cafe du Monde maybe once every six months when we are on that side of the river. It's a little pricey but you won't find the begnets anywhere better and it's nice to act like a tourist every now and then.
