I went by again.. they close at 7pm.. i got there about 7:10PM..

Still didn't see one with my name on it...but I didn't see 33 cars either.. ..

I wan't to go tomorrow and talk to them about the deal..

A friend saw another truck load of Smarts headed into town in I-10 this afternoon

As a matter of fact - picked it up today
It is great! Walter and Caroline were great. Walked me thru all the basic instructions and a test drive to get the feel for the clutch. Plus they filled the tank (ok, only 20 bucks right now, but that has never happened on a vehicle I have bought). They said I was delivery # 3. Plan on cruising around this weekend to get some break-in miles on it. If I see ya, I'll be glad to give you a ride

Well, I'm working on the "if you mention it long enough people will accept it" approach. No idea if there will even be a next year's anything, but if there is it should be in New Orleans IMHO - great city and you guys can use the tourism $$$.

It is still not here

First it was last Friday.. then Wednesday..
they even called me to come in today (Friday) to pick it up
But when I got there.. they said.. "not today"

That's odd they told you to come down but the car wasn't there??? I dealt with Walter Barbier for mine. He did what he could to keep me up on when my car was arriving but couldn't give me the exact day. It seems they don't know exactly which cars get loaded for delivery on a specific truck (at least that's what I was told). Mine arrived at the end of the week they first said it would be there. I took a chance and went down to see what was happening on a Friday afternoon and the car showed up on the truck that morning.
Once you get it, you will forget about all the frustrations of waiting
