Nick is a great source of information and a pleasure to work with. If you are considering a Smart car it is worth your time to call him, or stop by for a test drive, even if you are outside of the Sacramento dealer area. I have never had a car purchase go so smoothly, and I have never been treated so well (and I have bought many, many cars over the years). I am a very satisfied Niello Smart customer. Thank-you Nick!

I just saw the PM, it's not as visible as on the MINI forum where it tells you when you logon that you have one. I also am unable to PM since I haven't made three posts yet. I think that I am almost happy to wait since parts seem to be a little slow and adding options after delivery seems to be a lot more expensive.

I love forums like this because you can get a lot of information before you buy. Someone posted links to the owner's and service manuals which was nice since I have learned a lot about the smart already.

The size of the manuals could be cut by 2/3 if there weren't so many warnings. It's sort of hard to find the info between all of them.

Thanks for your help, I know I will have a smart at some point.

Just to keep everyone up to date what's going on on our end...
We just finished receiving the last of January's cars about a week ago.
Per a trustworthy source, 34 cars headed our way (ETA I don't know), will notify everyone when there is a sighting. If anyone in the South area sees a truckload of smart cars barreling down I-5, please pull up next to him and tell him to speed it up, then call me!!

Sorry- what I meant was the customers that got the 30 day notification around January 14th or so (that we were supposed to have delivered in the month of January) we just got the last of those cars in (isn't it March now?!). The folks that were notified in February that their cars would be delivered in 30 days had that 30 days pushed back to 45. But, for all the folks that want their smart cars, they are coming, (34 at least) and it sounds like good news (best I've heard for awhile).
